Have you received Employment Insurance (EI) since the recession began in October 2008?

Employment Insurance

According to Service Canada research as of March 24, 2010 employment insurance claims rose dramatically from the beginning of 2008 though early 2010 when they began to decline. As you can see by the graph on the right, the number Employment Insurance claims began to reduce as of January 2010.

As we in Powell River know employment is affected differently in different regions, what was your experience during this period?
