If you have to reduce the size of your staff to be able to afford the measly $1.50 pay increase for your staff, then you should close your business all together. Sounds like you are heavily indebted...get out while you can.

I am glad that the minimum wage is rising. It will really help. My employer does not give me time and a half for overtime, is that legal?
