Requirements |
- Driver’s licence required. - Knowlegde and professional experience working with brain injuries, mental health disabilities, and challening behaviours preferred - Effective oral and written communication skills - Calming personality, not overly-reactive in stressful situations - Experience using communication styles and/or augmentative communication systems - Ability to work cooperatively and effictively with agency staff, family and other gov't/ community agencies to plan, develop, coordinate and support programs - Effective leadership skills to provide oversight, guidance and support to team members - Ability to prioritize, respond to multiple demands, and manage time efficiently |
Duties and Responsibilities |
- Provide leadership - Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise staff - Manage service delivery, develop service plans and goals - Ensure person-centred approach - Lead team to support healthy behavior and relationships - Manage healthcare support - Manage home-based and community-based support - Support program monitoring and performance improvement |
