Requirements |
Experience - Minimum 1 years of demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable Skills and Abilities - Competent user of Microsoft excel - Skilled at using Sage 50 - Potential for career progression within finance - Ability to work independently and contribute to the finance team - Effective time-management and organizational systems |
Duties and Responsibilities |
- Processing all payments and expenditures, including invoices, statements, etc. - Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances - Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance - Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports - Processing bi-weekly cheque run - Oversight and reconciliation of cash management system - Assisting Finance Administrator and Finance Manager as required |
