Requirements

- Driver’s licence and vehicle required.
- Post secondary education (diploma or degree in business, marketing, or communications)
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Marketing experience
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook skills
- Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Effective project management skills
- Sound understanding of marketing principles
- Effective understanding of latest technologies and should identify how to apply them in marketing
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Be decisive and practice good judgment
- Build excellent working relationship to attain goals
- Work collaboratively as a team member
- Be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
- Effectively communicate and make best use of interpersonal skills
- Should be able to deliver creative and innovative thoughts.
- Be available for extended hours to complete company initiatives by deadline

Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist Marketing and Community Impact Manager with design and delivery of the company marketing and communications plan
- Negotiate and buy advertising from local media
- Educate staff on marketing campaigns
- Project management as assigned
- Attend management strategic planning sessions where requested to assist in the development and implementation of key initiatives

Digital Marketing:
- Manage credit union website; maintain and update site on a regular basis, ensuring valid, current and accurate content
- Manage social media and digital channels

Graphic Design
- Create marketing collateral - including posters, brochures, flyers, teller mats, and handouts
- Develop creative for all campaigns ensuring a consistent message that supports our brand

Community:
- Evaluate requests for sponsorships, donations and company involvement
- Coordinate and facilitate community events

Communications:
- Develop internal and external communications as required
- Technical writing including the development of company proposals and presentations
