Requirements |
| - Driver’s licence and vehicle required. Job Description: - We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team - The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, a love for cooking, and a desire to create well thought out and nutritious home cooked meals for our clients - This is not fine dining, but we believe food is medicine, so you’ll be able to flex your culinary muscle in ways that elevate traditional dishes to high standards of taste and quality Requirements: - 5+ years previous experience working as a cook - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices - Ability to work in an ever-changing environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Empathy and patience - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed - Reliable - No addiction/dependence on drugs or alcohol |
Duties and Responsibilities |
| - Preparing and cooking food items according to established recipes and standards - Creative use of leftovers and random food donations - Ensuring food and nutritional quality meet our company's standards - Assisting with menu planning and development - Helping with ordering and general kitchen management - Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment - Collaborating with the support staff and other kitchen helpers to ensure smooth operations |
