Requirements |
- Familiar with local community resources - Basic understanding of street culture - Ethically aligned with Harm-Reduction practices - Demonstrated ability to perform home support - Reliable, responsive, and supportive team member - Demonstrates excellent communication and active listening skills - Demonstrates concise and ethical documenting skills - Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain client confidentiality - Demonstrates professional boundaries - Demonstrates understanding of emergency response protocol - Ability to remain alert and perform tasks in a demanding environment - Ability to remain calm and responsive during crisis incident response - Contributes to a culturally safe environment - Ability to lift and carry up to 20lbs and walk 3 flights of stairs throughout shift |
Duties and Responsibilities |
- In this role, you will provide support and basic life skills to individuals facing multiple barriers - You will look out for the security and well-being of program participants and their living environment by providing crisis response, overdose response, and home support - You value genuine inclusivity and believe that we as a community, are ethically accountable for the health and wellness of all who live here |
