Requirements |
- University or equivalent degree in accounting/finance - Previous experience in tax preparation and notice to reader engagements is desired - The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and preferably have experience with Sage, Caseware and Tax Cycle - The successful candidate will be able to handle multiple tasks, establish priorities and meet deadlines - Attention to detail and ability to self-review are a must - Ability to contact and manage document requests directly with clients |
Duties and Responsibilities |
- Tax preparation including corporate, personal, charity and trust returns - File completion including notice to reader engagements, with the potential for some review and audit assistance - Preparation of GST and PST forms - Preparation of t-slips as required |

We are looking for candidates in, or interested in relocating to Powell River to work in a full-time, permanent accounting technician role.
